StartUp Britain

The Business Champion Awards are proud to be working with StartUp Britain as the whole programme really celebrates the very best Small & Medium sized businesses in the UK and the winners of the annual awards can regard themselves as the very best in their sectors and use it to give them the competitive edge enabling them to grow their businesses even further.

StartUp Britain is a national campaign to encourage more people to start a business and support existing businesses to grow. Launched in March 2011 with support from the Prime Minister, Chancellor and Business Minister, the campaign is run by a team of 8 business owners and entrepreneurs.

The face of the campaign is a website at www.startupbritain.org which links to useful resources and corporate offers. There is also support on offer in the form of mentoring from proven and experienced entrepreneurs.

The campaign will be hosting and appearing at events throughout Summer 2011 and shining a spotlight on start ups and successful business owners so many others follow in their footsteps.
